We are recruiting for an Accountant
We are a Progressive Accountancy Firm in search of: Energetic, forward-thinking, and approachable Accountant
Location: Chester
Position Type: Full-time
Hours: 35 hours per week, spread over 5 days (Monday to Friday).
We are open to applications from someone searching for a part-time position.
Salary: Commensurate with experience – ranging from £22,000 to £28,000 per annum (adjusted proportionally for part-time roles).

We are looking for someone who will:
- Compile financial statements for Limited Companies, Sole Proprietors, and Partnerships – encompassing corporate tax
- Provide support and guidance to our clients
- Prepare VAT returns
- Train and support clients in navigating online accounting platforms
Expertise: The role is ideal for someone with a recent practice background. Well-suited for a qualified by experience accountant or a candidate who has succeeded in completing their AAT qualification, or is close to doing so, and already working within a practice environment.
